KING ARTS 1:9 AVENGERS 2 IRONMAN HULKBUSTER

For the past few months there seems to be several companies by now having the Avengers 2 Hulkbuster toy license and one of them is King Arts. King Arts is relatively new in terms of producing mass production action figures and the earlier version of their hand phone charger statues seem pretty nice. 

King Arts are also releasing some of their 1/9 scale diecast Iron Man action figures. Although their action figures are in different scale compared to Hot Toys but due to their usage of diecast which has a higher price point closer to the current 1/6 scale Hot Toys plastic figures, it's really a tough choice for collectors indeed but this has made King Arts in a head on competition with Hot Toys. It's not easy to convert Hot Toys collectors but for newbie collectors coming into the picture, King Arts may have a chance.

Nevertheless, we will let time do the judgement and for now we feast ourselves with some saliva driven promotional photos.

HASBRO 18" TRANSFORMERS DEVASTATOR CONSTRUCTICONS

We have been seeing 3rd party companies unveiling some pretty great Transformers figures for some years and only now that Hasbro is catching up on what is really the vast Transformers characters which are unreleased till date. I guess by now most hardcore collectors would have own a devastator either from TFC or Maketoys line. What Hasbro idea is to outdone what these earlier Devastator by 3rd party with better design, crazy detailing and a whopping 18" size. I think size does matter here and we really love it.

For some reasons not all Hasbro toys are great as some of the newer Transformers toy line recently released seems a bit cheap looking in terms of quality. We do see some cheap KO Transformers from China which are in hollow plastic and ironically this is what Hasbro are doing now for their new toy lines which is sad.

Nevertheless, Devastator is still looking great and please DO NOT screw this up for collectors sake.

                                                          

Hot Toys Avengers 2 - 1:6 Iron Legion

Once in a while we somehow have to display our lead character figure together with some enemy grunts or alliance troops so that it looks way much more dramatic. That is where Hot Toys is bringing us the Iron Legion robot from the Avengers 2 movie. If only the price of this figure can be reduce by having it power pose combo figures which will surely be a great hit. At present, there are just way too much Iron Man armour suits released already and collectors are thinking twice whether to invest for something which is not as popular as the Iron Man suit itself since the price point of Iron Legion is quite close to a typical main armour suit from the Iron Man series.

However, there are still a lot of hardcore collectors out there which will still pick this up. There are just way too much hype on the Mark 43 to Mark 45 now which we may have to save those hard earn sweaty money so that we can get a piece of these crown jewel ferrari goodies.

AVENGERS II AGE OF ULTRON MARK XLV 1:6 SCALE

I guess by now we all have already walked and tasted the aftermath of the Ultron's destruction. We all will just have to admit Avengers II has blasted its way to the USD1 billion box office mark yet again with it all crowded superhero flick. Is it any good? Who cares, we all just want to have a nice action pop corn movie and in some ways seem to look much more realistic than the original Avengers. 

Anyway, let's get back to our preview of this 'Ferrari' Iron Man Mark XLV suit from Hot Toys and I must say that I am very much impress with this all new look. Although this suit of armour is featured prominently in the movie, we hardly notice and able to appreciate the design as the action scenes were so ridiculously fast that it's practically impossible to see its details. Moreover, we have almost 1/2 dozen of super heroes running around flexing its muscles in the movie which makes our eyes pretty much sore after the end credits.

As for now, let's have a closer look at the 'Bloody Ferrari'.
