We are
back from Hobby World 2016 which was held for 2 days from 30/7/2016 till
31/7/2016 at MAEPS, Serdang. It was quite a nice little trip with a little bit
of everything thrown in the expo. The hobby stuff which were displayed are Hoverboards,
Gundams, Lego, Papercraft, 3D printers, Custom Builders, Hot Wheels, Remote
Controlled Drones/Cars, toys, Custom Boats, model kits and much more. It was
interesting that the model kits community is still strong as there are a few
display showing off jet fighters, tanks and dioramas which were pretty amazing.
When we
arrive, it started raining and by the time we exit the expo, the rain had stop
which was quite fortunate for us. There was a mini zoo too but we had to skip as our 5
months old son was getting tired. The exhibitors were very friendly and readily
there to inform the public about their passion and some tips of how to achieve
